On your iPhone
Indexing and map display happen on device. Photos stay on your iPhone. Cloud only enters the picture when you create a share link.
Location comes from photo metadata (EXIF). Pins and trips are computed privately on your phone.
Create a folio album for friends or a group. Only what you include leaves the device — for the life of that link.
Missing a geotag? Add a location by hand so the memory still belongs on the map.
